Article Summary

Azure Browser:

Azure Browser allows you to connect directly to Admire where ever you have internet access.

How to Save/Download files on Azure Browser:

  1. To download a file from Admire, you save it under Network – tsclient – virtual drive – downloads.
This will only save it temporarily in Admire file explorer, but it will also go to your local downloads.
  2. If you want this file to be saved permanently in Admire, you have to save the file in the documents folder.
This will save it permanently and will be accessible to all users.
  3.  Saving the file - Once the file is in your local downloads folder, you can move it to any folder you’d like.
  4.  If you are on the Report Wizard Screen you have the option to Download straight to your personal Downloads folder, see red box on screenshot.
  5.  If you are running a Mail Merge you have the option to Download straight to your personal Downloads folder, right click on the merged file and select "Download" as seen in the screenshot.
If you do not see any of the above "Download" options on Report Wizard/Mail Merge:
You are on the wrong url for Admire!
Go to the correct url: https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html and log in there.
BOOKMARK it so you will have it for the future and ERASE the old bookmark.

How to Print files/reports on Azure Browser:

  1.  Since Admire is not connected to your local printer as it is on the cloud, you cannot print from Admire directly to your printer.
  2. When selecting print, the file will go to your local downloads folder and from there you can print it.

How to Upload files on Azure Browser:

  1. Click the arrow on the top right of Admire and select the file that needs to be uploaded. You will receive a message when the uploading is complete.

    It is Important to Note:
For each computer, the first time you upload a file, you will receive a confirmation to upload.
Select “Don’t ask me again” and hit confirm.
This message will not come up again when using the same computer.
  2.  The file can then be found under Network – tsclient – virtual drive – uploads.
If you do not see the uploaded file, make sure the file extension is the correct one on the bottom right dropdown list (see highlighted on screenshot).
Please be aware:
The UPLOADS folder is a temporary folder.  Files will not remain in it permanently, rather after a certain period of time they disappear.
