Standard Web Import Utility

  • Verify that your import file has the correct column headers - see Admire Financial Import Columns.
  • Save the file to be imported as a CSV (comma delimited) (*.csv) file with no blank rows.
  • Now you need to UPLOAD your file to Admire if you are using AU - Browser.  Click here for instructions for that.
  • Go to Tools -> Standard Web Import
  • Import Type: General Financial Import
  • Click on the ellipsis image-1674759569151
    • If you are on AU Desktop you should be able to navigate to your computer and find the file
    • If you are on AU Browser then navigate to Network -> tsclient -> Remote Desktop Virtual Drive -> Uploads, select the file.
  • Check "First Row Contains Column Headers," Click OK.
  • Click "Load."
  • Review the data thoroughly to make sure that no information is missing, and all the information looks correct.
  • The replace section of the utility can be used to update selected records. For example, if you want to change the occasion on all payments, click "Select All," choose the occasion and click the down arrow to update the selected records. image-1674760037660.
  • Click "Match/Create Accounts." DO NOT use the "AUTO Match/Create Accounts" button unless you know precisely what you're doing and have excessive experience using it. Reach out to your consultant to discuss safe usage of this button, because -- if used safely -- it can save hours of work in certain situations.
  • So click the standard "Match/Create Accounts" button. The system will take you through each row on your list one-by-one and attempt to match it (the account information in each row) to existing accounts in your database. If you see that an account already does actually exist in your system for a particular row, click the correct existing account on the list of potential duplicates, and then click Use Selected. This will select the existing account's Account ID for the row on your list, and allow you to update account information on the spot. If none of the possible matches are correct, click Add New.
  • After all accounts are added (or matched to existing accounts) -- and all the rows contain Account IDs in their leftmost column cells... select the rows to be imported. Use the "Select All," "Clear All," and "Invert Selection" buttons for quicker selection of rows.
  • Click "Import Data." THIS IMPORTS THE PLEDGE/PAYMENT INFO IN THE ROW! IT DOES NOT IMPORT ACCOUNTS. The Match/Create Accounts button imports the actual new accounts, so all accounts to be added HAVE ALREADY BEEN ADDED. In fact, even if you do not subsequently ever import the row, the account will still very much exist in your database!
  • Click "Save List" to save already matched accounts and be able to continue at a later point, for future reference or to import / update additional information using the Import Accounts utility.
  • To avoid constantly exporting lists from RayzeIt or Dryve, we offer API integration. Please reach out to your consultant for more details and to have it setup.
