Inserting Scholarships For A New School Year

There is a new data maintenance tool that was released to simplify Applying Scholarships to Accounts. Users can copy scholarships from previous Occasions and adjust them by dollar or percent amount. 

To access to this tool: 

1.  Go to Tools -> Data Maintenance -> General Update
2. In the general update screen select 'Scholarship Update', apply any filter that you would like, select the previous occasion (to copy the scholarships from) and current occasions (where you want to create new scholarships) and click 'Search'.
   
3.  Select the rows you would like to process this update for.
4.  Click the 'Process' button and a pop-up with additional options will be displayed.
5.  In the pop-up, you can select which occasion to use from the previous year, the type of update adjustment (dollar amount or percentage) and the amount to adjust the scholarship amount by across the board.
   
   NOTE: To keep the same scholarship amount as the previous year, just enter '0' in the amount field.
