Marking Periods

It is important to note that although it is common to refer the Marking Periods as "Terms" (i.e. Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3 of the school year), in Admire these are called "Marking Periods".  In Admire the name "Term" is used for the general School Year.

To set up Marking Periods go to School > Setup > Marks > Marking Periods

On the screen that opens up you will need to enter the following:

• Name : what you would like to call the Marking Period, we recommend that you add the term years to the name
• Term : what Admire Term (school year) this Marking Period is for
• StartDate : the date this marking period starts, when attendance records will be counted from and when Adrenaline Mark Entry can be used to enter marks
• EndDate : the date this marking period ends, when the attendance records will no longer be counted and the stop date for allowing Adrenaline Mark Entry
