Meal Setup

Students are able to be enrolled in meals, have their meal eligibility status listed, and be marked if they attended the meals.

To set up which meals are available for students to be enrolled in (ie- Lunch, snack, breakfast) go to:

School > Setup > Meal Setup

The 'Meals' screen will appear:

1. Start Time and End Time – when the meal begins and ends. This is necessary in order for the students to be able to sign in for the meal during these times (used with the meal terminal).
2. Price- amount billed from government
3. Reduced- amount billed to parents
4. Menu- text field for notes regarding the menu (optional)
5. Active- mark as active if the meal is active. (if you do not mark as active it won’t show up in the list of meals available to the student)
