Message Logs
Message logs pulls in the records of any message that were sent on received from Twillio.
To view the Message Log; go to Communication -> SMS/Voice -> Message Logs
To search the Message Logs, there’s an option of filtering for 5 different categories (they do not all need to be filtered at once):
- SMS/Calls – to choose whether one wants to see texts or calls
- From Date – from which date and on
- Status – what the status of the message is (ex: Delivered, Undelivered)
- Direction – was it Incoming or Outgoing
- Phone Number – filter for a number
Match Accounts
The next step is to match the phone number from the Twillio list to Account in Admire.
To do this:
- Select the records in the imported list.
- Next, click the 'Match Accounts' button at the bottom center of the page. This will match the phone number on each message to the correct account.
Once the logs are searched for, there are few option of what could be done with each of them. Right click on any log to see the available options:
- Look Up Account: This will open up the account screen for the specific log based on the phone number
- Reply: This allows the user to reply to the selected number
- View Body: This allows the user to view the full body
- Copy Message: This option copies the message
- Create Contact Log: This creates a contact log in the account that is in the selected rows
- Export: This allow the user to export the full list to view on a spreadsheet
Resend As
- This option allows resending the message to the highlighted row. (This is good to use if a message failed to send for any reason.)
Insert Contact Logs
- This will insert a contact log onto the selected accounts in bulk.
Troubleshooting SMS Messages
- In the log table above, search for the message that did not work as expected.
- Look for the column 'ErrorCode' and copy the message.
- When submitting a task for your Consultant, include the phone number and the ErrorCode in the initial task.
