Prospects

Prospects are a powerful fundraising tool that can be used to track and target accounts for a specific campaign. Target amount, solicitor, status and contact information will be tracked per prospects. Telemarketing cards will display the Prospect details.

Prospect information can be viewed from the Prospect Browser or within a single account on the "Participation tab", and can be easily updated in the Prospect browser and from a single Pledge.

New Prospect

1. Open the New Prospect screen either by:

 a. Navigate to Campaign >> Prospects and press on New Prospect http://support.admng.com/files/images/newprospect.jpgat bottom of the screen. Browse for Account ID by clicking on the folderhttp://support.admng.com/files/images/openaccountfolder.jpg icon.

b. In the Account screen, under the Participation section press the New Prospect button.

2. Select Occasion Name from drop down list.  You can click on http://support.admng.com/files/images/hammer.jpgto set occasion name as default for each New prospect.

Note that if this account already has a prospect set up for this occasion, the occasion name will not appear on the drop down list

4. Select the Solicitor

Solicitors should be set up before prospects are created in the solicitor set up

5. Enter "Group" if applicable. The group is an internal grouping to categorize the Prospects.

6. Set Status of the Prospect (ie- Assigned, Follow Up, Pledges, Declined, etc.)

Note: You can easily add or delete a Prospect Status by going to Tools- List Editor- Expand the Editable List and edit the "ProspectStatus" list

7. Enter other information as necessary.

a. Target Amount

b. Priority

c. Sort

d. Contact By

e. Time to Contact

f. Contact Via

g. Address

h. Telephone Information

i. Notes

Copy Prospect

You may choose to copy the Prospect fields from a previous occasion.(Only available, when a new prospect is entered in the prospect admin.)

a. Check the checkbox for http://support.admng.com/files/images/prospectcopy.jpg.

b. Select the occasion

c. All prospect fields will fill accordingly. You can adjust the fields as needed.

 Search for  Existing Prospects 

Use the Prospect Lookup to search for Prospects existing in the system.

1. Select a lookup format

2. Check Filter if applicable, and select a filter. Click the ellipsis (...) to edit or press 'New..' to create a new filter.

3. Click Search

Edit Prospects

Prospect fields can be easily updated in the Prospect screen.

a. Select the Prospect and click on http://support.admng.com/files/images/prospectedit.jpgor right-click and select Edit.

b. Click OK or Apply to Save

Sort- Prospects can be sorted easily by using the sort bar. Sort by any column necessary. You can sort by more than one column as well.

Prospect update from Pledge 

When creating a pledge, you can open the prospect on that account within the pledge screen to edit the status and other details. This will only display where the account has a prospect already setup for the same campaign as the pledge that you are creating. Use the flag prompt in the Quick Pledge screen to open the prospect and edit the status to 'donated'.

Creating Prospects in Bulk 

In the Search Accounts screen

1. Select a lookup format

2. Check Filter if applicable, and select a filter. Click the ellipsis (...) to edit or press 'New..' to create a new filter.

3. Click Search

4. Hit the Prospect button and enter the prospect information.

Prospects will be inserted for all those accounts.
