Entering Student Logs

Student logs are notes entered about a student such as behavior or awards.

Student log types are able to be customized for a school's needs.

To enter a student log go to:

School > Student Logs > Student Log Entry

The Student Log quick entry screen will appear:

Enter the Date and Time. 

Select the student log type, the student, and who it was reported by. 

Enter the notes manually by clicking in the 'Notes' section or press the 'Structured Notes' button to select from preset items.

Press 'Save and New' or 'Save and Close'.

All the logs that were entered in this session will display on the right side of the screen in the 'Logs Entered' section.

Or - 

You can enter a new log from the 'Student Browser':

In the student browser (School > Students), search and select the student. 

Press the down arrow next to the student logs button in the upper right corner and select 'New Log'.
