Teachers Guide To Adrenaline Mark Entry

Logging into Adrenaline
You school will provide you with the url (link) to your school’s Adrenaline.
You should be seeing this screen:
Type in the User name provided by your school in the box labeled
.
Check off the box .
Press .
The screen will change to be similar to this:
Enter the Password provided to you by the school or the temporary one sent to your email in the box labeled Password.
You can press the purple eye icon to view what you are typing in.
Make sure not to enter extra spaces.
Now that you are attempting to sign in you will be emailed a Security Code. Check your email for an email with a Security Code.
It will look something like this (not to be confused with a temporary password email):
The Security Code number must match the one on the email. For example in the screenshot above the code number is [428] it does NOT match the Security Code requested in the login screen [449]. You would need to find the one that matches, in this case [449].
Once you find the correct matching Security Code enter it in the box.
Check off .
Click .
Navigating to Report Card Entry
If a choice of classes are now presented to you or the Report Card Entry screen, skip this section.
You should now be in Adrenaline at the Home Screen. It should look like this but may have a widget or two etc. displaying.
From the Right-hand Sidebar, select School → Report Cards → Entry.
Entering Marks on Adrenaline
If you teach more that one class you will get a popup asking you “Which students would you like to see?”.
Select the class you want to do Mark Entry for.
This popup will be skipped if you only teach one class.
You should now be in the Report Card Entry Screen.
The Term (Marking Period) that you need to enter the marks should be displayed & the class you have open, under the words Report Card Entry.
Use the dropdown by the Term to view marks entered on a previous term.
Use the Pencil Icon by the class to switch classes.
The Report Card Entry Screen features a grid with all the students in the class going down and all the marking elements of your course going across.

Please Note:
The Marking Element (the name for the place in which you put in a Report Card Mark) are different from school to school, therefore it might display different for you then on these screenshots. The concepts remain the same.
Enter in the marks on the grid. Entries are automatically saved, so there is no save button.
Admire Quick Tip!
Use the Tab button on your keyboard to move from one student to the next.
To fill the whole list with the same mark (you can adjust it after):
Put in a mark (e.g. A+) in the uppermost line (that has no student’s name next to it).
Select and then it will fill the whole list.
To clear out whatever was put in and start over - leave it blank in that same spot and click the .
A warning will popup telling you that this will clear out previous data.
Click Proceed to clear it out.
If your school set up a List of Marks to choose from (e.g. A+, A, A-, B+, B etc.):
Access it by clicking on the empty mark box.
Then select the mark you wish to enter.
Adding in a Comment:
Click to expand the Comment column.
Then click in the box and type in the comment.
If you have more that one comment column, find out from your school which one should be used.
If your school has a Comment List to choose from:
Click the comment box to open it.
Click on the bottom right corner.
This will open a list of comments.
Click on a comment to add.
It will fill in the student’s name in place of {Student}.
You can still edit the comment and/or add another from the list.
To freeze one columns' marking element:
Select the located next to the marking element name. You may need to hover over it for the symbol to appear.
To see the previous terms (Marking Period, not the past year’s) marks:
Select from under the marking element name.
Then a column will appear in grey with the past term (Marking Periods) marks.
