Term Setup

Article Summary

A term is defined as a school year or program in which the students will be registered. 

To setup a term go to: 

School > Setup > Terms


To add a new term, enter the term name on the bottom row with the * (this indicates a new record)


Term Setup Fields

Term- this is the term name as you want to refer to it. Be consistent with your term names. If the previous term was called 'September 2020', next term should be 'September 2021'

Start Date- the first date that you want the term to be defined as current

End Date- the last date that you want the term to be defined as current

Occasion- choose the occasion name for which tuition will be charged to. This is important for Tuition Contracts. (Creating the occasion should have been done prior to this point)

Tuition Compare To- choose the previous term for which tuition contract fees should be compared to (optional).

Comment 1- Comment 4- these are 4 text fields to be used in Marks for report cards/rating sheets. You can define what the four comments should be used for, such as Final grade, conduct code, etc.
