Texting Missing Forms Information to Parents

A new Communication lookup has been created and released for all users who have migrated to AU. This lookup gives access to missing form fields to be able to include in a customized text message. A parent will be listed in a new row for each phone number on their account. To only include a specific number type, the filter should be used for the desired type. 

To access this option:

1. - Open the Communication Menu and select SMS/Voice -> Send Messages
   
2. - In the lookup dropdown, select 'Telephone Lookup For Texting-Missing Forms By Term' 
3. - Optional: You can add additional filters for specific forms, grades or parents using the standard filter option.
4. - Click search. You will then be prompted to select a term. This lookup will only pull up parents who are missing forms for the selected term. 
5. - Once the lookup list has been pulled up, select the parents you would like to receive this message by checking off the row or selecting all. You can view the additional columns with the merge fields by scrolling to the left. When viewing the form fields, you will only see the first form - to view all forms, hover over the forms cell in the list.
6. -Create your message using the available merge fields or set up the sms message template by clicking 'Templates', 'New' and then creating the desired message.
7. The merge fields that are available specific to this specific lookup are:
   - AccountForms - This field pulls missing forms related to the account.
   - StudentForms - The Student Forms field will list the missing form and the student.
