Turning on your device:

Press the button on the right side of the device to turn it on, continue to hold the button for a few seconds while the device starts up.

Release the button once the screen turns on and starts loading.

It takes a few minutes to fully load.  

When you see the opening screen with the Admire logo and a picture of a boy sitting at a desk, you are in!

There are two buttons on this screen (Admire Pro & NFC Write) plus the settings option.

Warning!
Leave the settings on your device alone and do not change them.
Only use this as per instructed by your consultant for updating your device.

The Admire Pro App:

To use the Action Pad to take attendance and for staff sign-in select the "Admire Pro" button.

You will be prompted "Please insert your NFC Card." 

Take your fob and place it flat on the black plastic part of the Action Pad below the screen.  (Do not place it on the screen itself.)  You may need to move the fob around to trigger it.

The Action Pad will read the fob and you will feel a slight buzz.

The fob will automatically log you onto your Admire Adrenaline account.

If the device still asks you for your user name and password:
  1. Use the fob to log in again, doing the same procedure mentioned above.
  2.  Alternatively, manually type in your username and password.

It will open to the Adrenaline Classroom Mode home-screen.

My Action Pad did not open to the Classroom Mode Home-screen
You can access the Home-screen at any time by selecting the picture of the house on the top of the screen.

NFC Write App:

This button is used to set up the fobs.

Shut off or Restart Action Pad:

To power off or restart your device hold down the button on the right side of the device for a few seconds.  The screen will turn black and show to options:

  • Power off
  • Restart

Select the option you want.

To put the device "to sleep" - screensaver mode:

  • Briefly press the button on the right side of the action pad.

Check Wifi Settings:

Access the Wifi settings button as follows:

  • Refresh the Action Pad (hold down button on right till Refesh option appears, select it)
  • Tap the screen continuously after the screen shows black with the Admire logo till it turns white and shows the Admire logo together with the picture of the student in the desk.
  • An addition button "Wifi Settings" next to the Settings button will appear, select it.
  • All available networks will load and it will indicate which network it is connected to or if it is not connected.

Device Serial Number:

To find out the Serial Number of your Action Pad:

  • Go to the Action Pad home-screen (White with Admire logo and picture of student sitting in a desk)
  • Tap anywhere in the upper white part of the screen (above the word Apps)
  • The words "Device serial:" with the actual serial number will appear under the student.

Updating the Action Pad:

This should only be done as per your consultant
  • On the opening screen select the Settings option.
  • You will be prompted to insert your NFC card (fob).
  • Touch the bottom black part of your device with the fob to go into the Settings screen.
  • Select "System" from the Settings Menu.
  • Select "Updater" from the System Menu.
  • If an update is available it will show in this screen.
  • Select it to update your device and follow the prompts to update your Action Pad.

Troubleshooting your Action Pad Device:

Yikes!  I went into the wrong screen, how do I go back?
Place your finger or stylus on the top right hand corner and drag it across the screen to the left side.  You will see a back arrow appear and the screen will go back to the previous one.
My device blacked out, what do I do now?
This means that the device went into screensaver mode.
Press the button on the right side of the action pad to turn the screen on again.  
You may have to press more then once.
Help! My fob is not working, what do I do?
  • Try to refresh your device:
    Swipe the top of the screen from right to left at least 20 times in a row.
  • Try to restart your device.
    Hold down the button on the right side of the device for a few seconds.  The screen will turn black and show two buttons: Power off & Restart.  Select the Restart option
I am getting RED text with the message "Card Not Recognized Try Again" what should I do?
Contact your consultant.
I am getting a message "Webpage not available...." what should I do?
  • Try to refresh your device:
    Swipe from the top right of the screen to the top left at least 20 times then try logging in again.
  • Make sure your device is connected to the wifi and that the internet is working.
  • If all of the above does not work then please contact your consultant.
