How to Deactivate an Individual

If an individual is no longer alive or you wish to disassociate this account with him/her then you would deactivate the individual.

• Go to the account with the individual you wish the deactivate.

• Select the individual from the list of Individuals so it opens in the right-hand sidebar.

• Click on located on the top of the sidebar.

• Select Deactivate.

  

• The individual will appear greyed out and with on the account screen.

  

Deactivating Both Primary Individuals

Every account has a maximum of two Primary Individuals but must include at least one for the account to remain active.  Deactivating the last remaining Primary Individual will archive the entire account.

• When you select Deactivate on the last remaining Primary Individual you will get the following pop-up:

• If you click on , the entire account becomes inactive and gets archived.

  It is Important to Note:

  Deactivating an account WITHOUT first deactivating the primary individuals does NOT retroactively deactivate the primary individuals.

  Example: Next to an account name, you select theand then choose , the primary individuals are NOT deactivated!

  

Restore an Individual

Reactivating an individual is called restoring.  Follow these steps to restore an inactive individual.

• Go to the account with the individual you wish to restore.

• Select the individual from the list of Individuals so it opens in the right-hand sidebar.

• Click on located on the top of the sidebar.

• Select Restore.
