How to Edit Individuals

From the Individual Screen

  • Open the account that the individual is on.

  • Select the individual you wish to edit, from the Individuals section.

  • Individual will open up on the right-sidebar with all its information displayed.

  • Click on the  located on the top next to the individual’s name to edit the display name (Gender, Title, First Name, Last Name).

  • To add information to a empty field or add an additional:

    • Click thenext to the field name.  

    • Hit to save.

  • To edit the displayed information:

    • Hover over it so it shows up with a blue background.

    • Then select the  to open up the edit screen.

    • Use to archive an old email/cell phone - it will remain in the system but inactive.  

    • Use to delete a record and completely remove it from the system.

From Account Header

From the Account Header you can only edit the Titles, First Names & Last Names of Individuals.

  • Open the account the individual is on.

  • Select the  next to the Account Name.

  • The Edit Account Display screen will appear.  Make your changes in this screen.

  • To override the Last Name, select the   after the Last name.

  • Hit when done.

From Contact Details

From the Contact Details screen you can edit an individuals contact information such as phone, email and address.

  • Open the account the individual is on.

  • Select next to Contact Details.

  • The Contact Information Screen will open.

  • Select the  at the end of the contact information to expand and edit.

  • Make your changes in the appropriate fields and select image(192)when done.

Archiving a Contact Record

While deleting will permanently remove a contact record like a phone number or email address, archiving is way to inactivate the record but still have it on your database.  For example you can choose to completely remove her email address from the account or you can archive it.  It will remain on the account but will not be active.

All records marked archived will be appear greyed-out and the archive symbol will appear in front of it.

  • Use any of the above methods to edit an individual’s contact records.

  • When that contact record is open for editing, select .

Unarchive

  • Open the individual with the archived contact record as instructed above under How to Edit Individuals from the Individual Screen.

  • When the record is open for editing, select .
