Setting Up Automatic Letters
There are two basic Delivery methods for all Letters.
Print - Letters will be sent to the Print Queue. Learn more about the Print Queue below.
Email - Letters will be emailed out to ALL the email addresses on the account.
If you choose the Email option:
Set up what should happen for accounts that have no email address.
Use the drop-down shown above to choose if no email address Admire should Print or Do Nothing.
You can add an Exception both on Email and on If no email address - Print.
In the example below it is set that Default Delivery Method is Email Except when the Amount is greater than $2,500 then Print. If no email address it should Print Except if the amount is less than $50 Then Do Nothing.
Payment Link for Invoices
Emailed Invoices have the option of sending the donor a payment link.
To enable this:
Go to Settings → → Invoices.
Scroll down to PAYMENT LINK.
Click on to turn on this feature.
Select which Payment Method should used for this payment link from the dropdown.
Review
Admire Letters gives you the option to have Receipts & Payment Acknowledgements reviewed before being sent out or to print.
Invoices are not able to be reviewed at all, as the review process causes a time lapse which can potentially create inaccuracies.
However Pledge Acknowledgements must be reviewed before getting sent out or printed.
Turning Review Off/On
Select None in the Review drop-down to turn off the Review option on Receipts & Payment Acknowledgements.
Select User in the Review drop-down to turn on the Review option & to select which user should be the review.
This will open the full list of Admire users.
You can select the user or search for one in the Find a user box on the top of the list.
The Letters generated that need review will then be assigned to the selected user. In the Letters screen the reviewer will have the number of Letters awaiting for his/her review available and will also receive a weekly email notification when Letters are waiting to be reviewed by him/her.
How Review Works
In the Letters Page the reviewer will access the waiting documents. They have the option to do a quick review or a detailed one. If they choose to do the detailed review then they also can personalize the documents as well.
Select on the Admire left sidebar to access the Letters page.
Select located on the top right.
The number in () after the words "Review and Personalize" is the amount of documents waiting for review.
If Letters are open for review for more than 3 days the reviewer will receive a weekly email reminder to take care of it.
The Review Letters screen opens.
Each letter is displayed with which type it is, what date it came into the queue, the amount and address.
Use the drop-down next to to display only one type of Letters.
Select to preview the document.
Select to skip that document and remove it from the queue.
Select to mark all of the Letters listed as reviewed.
Select to open to a more detailed review screen.
The Detailed review opens each document preview together will the accounts information on the side.
Each letter is displayed in its own screen with all its relevant information.
If desired, add a personal message to display on the Letter, here:

will hold the letter in your queue for later and let you move on to the next letter.
Click on to approve this Letter and have it sent out/email or added to the print queue.
Select to go back to the original quick review screen.
It is important to remember:
When you make changes to a Letters type and there are pending letters that might get affected by your changes the following warning message will pop up:
Select to apply these changes to the pending letters.
Print Queue
Letters that are set to Print as opposed to Email will appear in this Print Queue.
It will only generate in the queue after the review is complete, if review is set up for that Letter type.
How to Print Letters
Select the icon from the Admire sidebar.
The Letters page will display.
Make sure the tab is selected (red box).
Please Note:
If you see this notification on the top of the page (or with a different number), just wait a few till it all loads or refresh the page.Use the drop-down next to to view only one type of Letters if desired (pint box).
To print all the documents on the list select the button (green box).
The documents will generate and open in a new tab on your browser.
To Speed Up Letter Generation:
If the number of Letters you choose to Print exceeds 100, Admire will email you an PDF document with all your Letters, instead of opening up a new tab.
To only print some of the documents:
Select those you wish to print
Click on the button that appears on the top of the list.
You can also choose to skip (not send) the selected letters by clicking on .
Select to preview a document.
To Print/Skip a single letter, select the at the end of the line and then choose from the drop-down that appears .
